If anything IT makes you groan, your eyes glaze over or you lose the will to live – WAIT - this may be just for you!

Meet John Barber, a new member who would like to run some sessions designed just for you, and others like you.

As he describes it: he isn’t a 12 year old with a tablet, he is one of us and has learned the hard way. You can find a copy of just a small part of his cv attached to this note. He has spent recent years running courses just for people who don’t want to be ‘online’, are frustrated and angry that everything now seems to be online only, making their lives so much more difficult, or are simply worried about looking silly, because they don’t understand the whole thing and feel just a little bit embarrassed.

At our last New Members Meeting the committee members met up with John, who is a self-taught IT programmer.  He has a track record of running pragmatic, down to earth workshops to help with basic IT tasks that make daily chores accessible to all, or help those who are not IT savvy, to understand how to avoid some of the modern day IT driven scams, that are often targeted at our age group.

If you would like to join John for some, or all of the workshops listed below, either as a refresher course or for the first time, please let us know and we will get back to you.
