Eleven of us met in the lovely small meeting room at the back of Touchpoint, Crafton Green.

The room was buzzing with excitement as we all introduced ourselves and highlighted our own particular passions. Some were focused on one passion and a few like to dabble in a variety of needle crafts.

We discussed beading, weaving, tapestry, embroidery, to name but a few.

We exchanged ideas on resources, courses & exhibitions.

Most of us had brought along projects that were works in progress but a couple of people simply arrived to be inspired by like-minded sewers. One piece of work had been started 30 years ago and the participant was inspired to join our group with the intention of finally finishing it!

It looks like the group will grow healthily, as maybe will our expertise in our crafts

We were lucky enough to share tea, coffee, biscuits and a lot of laughter: what’s not to like?

We meet on the 1st Wednesday of every month and the fee is currently £2 per session.
